My name is Robert W. White, and I'm a graphic / web / interaction / 3D designer / photographer based in Metro Vancouver, BC. My passions include the typography, digital photo processing, urban planning, and green architecture.

I'm a designer with chameleon tendencies: I put away my own colours and styles when working on a project, in order to make room for yours - blending my creativity with your needs. In doing so, I learn new perspectives, new techniques, and new ways of looking at the world around me, in addition to leaving you with a completely personalized solution.

In 2009 I graduated with a BSc in Interactive Arts, majoring in Interaction Design, from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) at Simon Fraser University's Surrey campus. Of the many skills, experiences, and bits of knowledge I gained at university, the following was perhaps the most profound: "design" is not a website, or a chair, or a big shiny skyscraper, or a fancy, computer-controlled, multi-sensored, aerodynamic, sustainably-crafted, 2.0, thingamajig. Design is an idea, and a process.. a way to solve problems.. and a way of thinking differently. It allows a designer to change the way people experience the world around them, thereby forming their very perception of that world. What a thrill.. what a responsibility.. what an opportunity to make a difference!
