Google Earth Model 2009

As part of an ongoing project to see the area of downtown Surrey / Whalley built in Google Earth, I got set to work modelling a number of the older towers in the area. Station Tower, by MCM Partnership, was a difficult project due to the detail in the curtain walls and window glazing.

Designed by Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership, Station Tower is the flagship building for the Gateway commercial development. The tower, located off 108th and West Whalley Ring Road in Surrey, is 72.8m tall, with 19 Floors of office space, and features an urban park with fountains and pools, as well as a pedestrian link to Gateway Station.
