After Rome, came the Tuscan countryside. With our base in Dolciano, in what was once the residence of the Duke of Tuscany, we ventured out on day-trips to surrounding hilltowns for research. These included Pienza, Pitigliano, Siena, and Montepulciano, with smaller stops here and there. After the hustle and bustle of Rome, Tuscany was a welcome retreat.

The Tuscan sun and countryside were more than enough inspiration to take beautiful photos. Many of the shots were taken for the research projects, which thankfully resulted in a set showing the beauty and diversity of the region.
