Site Design & Development 2011
Arthur, President & CEO of a major electronics manufacturer, contacted me in the hopes of creating a blog where he could share his adventures in leadership. Centred on a photo he took of Whistler, one of his favourite places, I created a light, content-focused design with everything a CEO might need to stay connected.
The Site
One of the most important things for Arthur was the clarity of content. He wanted it organized, easy to read and sharable, and newsletter-ready. We teamed up with MailChimp to let visitors subscribe to the weekly post mail outs, which even include embedded youtube clips for the mail programs capable of displaying them. Being a blog, the site required quite a bit of back-end development on the Wordpress platform to ensure the wide range of content Arthur might like to publish, could go live without a hitch. So far, it's been a hit within the company, and in the growing CEO blogger community!
