Site Design Upgrade 2011

When Grant contacted me to see if I could give his realty site a bit of a visual upgrade, I was excited for the challenge; the site was built on a platform to allow for various content changes by the user, but imposed significant limitations on changes to the overall layout and design.

The Site: Before

The solution was to build a design on top of the existing layout, and incorporate specific pieces into the existing template. A little bit of coding wizardry meant I was able to add an extra row of headline-style content below the photo of one of his properties. I also improved the navigational structure, and touched up each of the pages to create a consistent look across the site, which would also reflect the colours and visual styles of the Westridge Realty brand.

A few months after this design update, Grant contacted me again to give him a fully flexible WordPress version of his site to allow him complete freedom with content control and integration with the MLXChange service. As an extra bonus, I created this new site to be fully responsive to all browser sizes, big or small.
