When the folks at Shyndig Music contacted me to create a simple one-page website, I knew right away it had to be simple, but bold enough to catch the attention of the visitor. I also knew it would need an easy way to listen to what the band could do, in a non-obtrusive way.
The Site
Using some photographs provided by the band, I created a collage-inspired layout to highlight each of the different styles of music Heywire likes to perform, and give the visitor more reason to keep on scrollin' down. With the music player, the visitor doesn't have to worry about fiddling with a generic player with songs hidden somewhere inside, but instead, can click to play a song right next to the title. Easy, but effective.
